The 2010 Music Program - Performing Groups, Ensembles, Classes

Each student may participate in several groups and on more than one instrument and/or voice. Students enjoy small classes taught by professional educators, solo artists, composers and conductors. Original compositions by students are developed and rehearsed for possible performance. Music ranges from traditional to rock and blues, from classical to modern.

Students can take more than one instrument at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels, if desired.

Professional artists perform concerts, recitals and offer special workshops.

The culmination of the Eastern U.S. Music Camp activities will be a gala Final Concert on Friday, July 23, 2010. Small ensembles will perform at 7:00 p.m. followed by the major performing groups at 7:30 p.m.  All of the performing organizations will be featured. A reception with refreshments will follow for parents, families, friends, faculty, guest artists and students.
